Alongside intensive rehearsals, the course - lead by Richard Jenkinson - will also feature a series of inspiring masterclasses and workshops, providing participants with personalised feedback and opportunities to refine their artistry. Whether aiming to challenge themselves with ambitious repertoire or simply to revel in the pure joy of communal music-making, singers will find the Choral Course 2026 a transformative experience—one that celebrates musical excellence, personal growth, and the shared spirit of choral singing.

 

In 2026, students will also have the opportunity to participate in an opera concert performed by the Academies Masterclass students. This will provide the more experienced choristers with the chance to perform excerpts from classic operas alongside the soloists. To participate in the concert, these choristers will need to familiarise themselves with the pieces in advance of the course. CHORAL COURSE 2026

Thursday 16 April to Thursday 23 April 2026

All singers will be asked to complete an online registration form which will include questions with respect to voice and choral experience. As stated above, some choral singers will be invited to participate in the opera performance on Friday 24 April.

PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK

16th & 17th : Rehearsals 10.30am-1.30pm

18th:  Rehearsals 2.30pm-5.30pm 

Gala concert in Faux near Issigeac given by the mastetclass students at 8pm. Ticket included in the course price.

19th: Rehearsals 3.00pm-6.00pm

20-22nd: Rehearsals 10.00am -1.00pm

23rd:  Rehearsals 4.00pm-7.00pm. Concert 8pm-10pm 

 

For the extra choir we will have a rehearsal on 16th 2.30-4.00pm; 

20th,21st,22nd: Rehearsals 2.00pm-4.00pm

Once registered, there are no refunds for cancellations, unless there are exceptional circumstances discussed with the Academy

All course fees are in euros.

The fee only covers tuition and Masterclasses. Accommodation and travel are NOT included.
