Ishani Bhoola
Ishani is an acclaimed violinist, in demand as performer and educator in both the UK and the USA.
Born and raised in Bristol, UK, Ishani studied at the Purcell School of Music and the Guildhall School of Music, winning numerous prizes and awards, including first prize in the 5th Sascha Lasserson Competition. Ishani gave her debut solo recital at the Purcell Room on London’s South Bank.
Ishani has been a member of several international orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra in the UK, and Grant Park Symphony Orchestra of Chicago, Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Los Angeles Opera in the US. Ishani has also played for numerous movie scores in Hollywood.

In the UK she established the Waverley Ensemble, bringing baroque chamber music to wider audiences. The Waverley Ensemble is a UK music education charity. In addition to regular concerts, it runs two projects: the Haslemere International String Competition and International Youth Orchestra Bridges. They are currently building the IYOB tour of France and the UK for July 2026.
Ishani lives in London, UK and has a home in Serres -et -Montguard where she also spends much of her time and hosts grand salon concerts for the local community.
